Dancers took to the court at annual Three Rivers Powwow

The La Crosse Three Rivers Traditional Powwow was held Saturday, May 18, and Sunday, May 19, at Mitchell Hall at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse campus.

Mathew Mann served as master of ceremonies, with Charles Hindsely serving as arena director. The Andrew Blackhawk Post 129 Color Guard brought in and retired the flags.

Head dancers were Storm WhiteEagle and Lavender Hunt.

A moccasin tourney was held on Saturday evening during the meal.

Co-host drums were Haylushka and Ho-Chunk Station. Invited drums were Bearheart, Young Kindbird, Redbone Singers, and Hiwasipi.

Wild Bearies Catering provided a free dinner Saturday evening.
