New Round of COVID-19 Related HHCDA CARES Act Assistance

     Ho-Chunk Housing and Community Development Agency (HHCDA) offering a new round of assistance for Rental Assistance, Mortgage Assistance, and Utility Assistance.  Ho-Chunk Nation members are eligible for help even if they have already received HHCDA HUD CARES Act Assistance.  This assistance is not an income-based program.

     Applicants may use the HHCDA assistance for the following for economic loss related to COVID-19: Mortgage Assistance up to $2,100, Rental Assistance up to $1,400, Utility Assistance up to $600, and Temporary Lodging for homeless families and isolation lodging.  The Ho-Chunk Nation Department of Social Services offers Temporary Lodging.

     Applicants need only to complete an application once for eligibility.  There are a few edibility requirements.  Individual must be an enrolled Ho-Chunk Nation adult tribal member.  Individual must demonstrate a need for assistance directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic.  See the application for a complete list of requirements.
