By Ardith Van Riper

The third Monday in February is a federal holiday known as Presidents’ Day.  The Ho-Chunk Nation and many schools and businesses are open as usual.

This year the holiday occurred on February 17. The Ho-Chunk Nation Office of the President offered cakes, doughnuts, and cupcakes in celebration.
