Senator Tammy Baldwin Visits Ho-Chunk Nation Legislature for Roundtable Discussion

     On Monday, August 26, the Ho-Chunk Nation Legislature in Black River Falls had the honor of
welcoming Senator Tammy Baldwin for an important visit.

     The Senator met with several key representatives, including Sarah Lemieux-White Eagle,
Rodney Rave, Phyllis Smoke, Stephanie Begay, Vice President Danielle DeLong, and President
Jon Greendeer, to engage in a roundtable discussion focused on critical issues impacting the
Ho-Chunk Nation.

     The conversation was both insightful and productive, emphasizing the importance of
collaboration in addressing the unique challenges faced by the Ho-Chunk community. The
roundtable provided a valuable platform for open dialogue, allowing for the exchange of ideas
and the exploration of potential solutions to pressing concerns.

     In addition to the roundtable, Senator Baldwin visited the Ho-Chunk Nation's Community Health
building, where she actively participated in the traditional practice of making warusgu.
